Advanced Laser Hair Removal Cheltenham
Less shaving. Less unwanted hair. Smoother skin.
Discover the next generation of laser hair removal at Forever Clinic, Cheltenham.
Our new advanced four-wavelength diode laser system combines 755nm, 808nm, 940nm and 1064nm wavelengths, giving us greater flexibility to tailor your laser hair removal treatment to your skin, hair and the area being treated.
From small facial areas to larger areas of the body, our aim is simple: effective, progressive hair reduction with a treatment plan designed around you.
Meet Our New Laser Technology
We’ve upgraded our laser hair removal technology at Forever Clinic.
Our AresLite DM60 uses advanced diode laser technology with four wavelengths:
755nm • 808nm • 940nm • 1064nm
Different wavelengths reach different depths within the skin, allowing the system to target unwanted hair across a variety of treatment areas and hair characteristics.
The system also incorporates Intelligent Hair Analysis technology and advanced cooling technology to support a more personalised and comfortable treatment experience.
Rather than focusing on a one-size-fits-all approach, treatment settings are selected according to the individual client and treatment area.
Why Choose Laser Hair Removal?
If you’re tired of constantly shaving, waxing or dealing with unwanted regrowth, laser hair removal offers a longer-term approach to hair reduction.
Over a course of sessions, laser energy targets pigment within the hair follicle, helping to progressively reduce hair growth.
Benefits include:
Long-term hair reduction
Face & body treatments
Suitable for many treatment areas
Advanced four-wavelength technology
Integrated cooling for comfort
Treatments tailored to you
Why Four Wavelengths?
Not all unwanted hair — or skin — is the same.
Our new system combines 755nm, 808nm, 940nm and 1064nm wavelengths within one platform.
Because different wavelengths penetrate to different depths, this gives your practitioner greater flexibility when selecting treatment parameters according to the area, hair characteristics and individual skin type.
You don’t need to understand the technology to benefit from it — that’s our job.
Before beginning your course, we’ll assess your skin and hair and determine whether laser hair removal is suitable for you.

Nose & Ear Hair Removal
Unwanted nose and ear hair can be particularly frustrating to manage.
Forever Clinic now offers targeted laser hair removal for suitable areas around the nose and ears, providing another option for men who are tired of repeatedly trimming unwanted hair.
Suitability and the exact area that can safely be treated will be assessed before treatment.
What Happens During Laser Hair Removal?
1. Consultation & Assessment
Before starting your course, we’ll assess your skin, hair and the area you’d like treated.
We’ll discuss your expectations, relevant medical history and whether laser hair removal is suitable for you.
2. Patch Test
A patch test may be required before your first full treatment so that we can assess how your skin responds and select appropriate settings.
3. Your Laser Session
During treatment, the laser is passed across the treatment area, delivering controlled laser energy to target the hair follicles.
The settings are selected according to your individual assessment and treatment area.
4. Your Course
Hair grows through different stages, and laser is most effective when hairs are in the appropriate active growth phase.
For this reason, laser hair removal requires a course of treatments rather than a single session.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
There isn’t one number that applies to everyone.
The number of sessions required can vary depending on factors including:
Treatment area
Hair colour and thickness
Skin type
Hair growth cycle
Hormonal influences
Individual response to treatment
We’ll recommend an appropriate course and appointment spacing following your assessment.
Maintenance sessions may also be beneficial for some clients.
Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
Most people describe laser hair removal as a manageable sensation rather than significant pain.
Our new laser incorporates cooling technology, designed to help keep the skin comfortable during treatment.
Sensation can vary depending on the area being treated and individual sensitivity.
Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?
Laser hair removal is best described as long-term or permanent hair reduction, rather than promising that every individual hair will disappear forever.
Following a successful course, clients can experience a significant reduction in unwanted hair.
Some hair may eventually regrow, particularly where hormonal changes influence hair growth, and occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended.
Can All Hair Colours Be Treated?
Laser hair removal works by targeting pigment within the hair.
For this reason, darker hair generally responds best.
Very light blonde, white, grey and some red hair may contain insufficient pigment for laser treatment to work effectively.
We’ll assess your hair during your consultation rather than promising treatment where we don’t believe you’ll achieve a worthwhile result.
Can Different Skin Types Be Treated?
Our four-wavelength system gives us greater flexibility when treating a range of clients.
However, suitability is always assessed individually. Your skin type, recent sun exposure, tanning, medication and medical history can all influence whether and when treatment can safely be carried out.
Preparing For Your Appointment
For laser to effectively target the hair follicle, the follicle needs to remain intact.
Before and throughout your laser course:
Do not wax, pluck or thread the treatment area unless advised otherwise.
Shaving is permitted and you’ll normally be asked to shave the area before your appointment.
Avoid tanning and excessive UV exposure around your treatments and follow the preparation instructions provided by your practitioner.
Please tell us about any medications, medical conditions or changes to your health before treatment.
You’ll receive full preparation and aftercare advice from Forever Clinic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I shave between laser appointments?
Yes. Shaving does not remove the hair follicle and is generally the recommended method of managing regrowth between laser sessions.
Can I wax between appointments?
No. Waxing and plucking remove the hair from the follicle, which means there is less for the laser to target. Avoid these methods during your laser course unless your practitioner tells you otherwise.
How long does an appointment take?
Treatment time depends on the area being treated. A small facial area will naturally take considerably less time than larger body areas such as the legs or back.
How often will I need treatment?
Appointment intervals depend on the treatment area and hair growth cycle. We’ll recommend the appropriate interval for you.
Will the hair disappear immediately?
No. Treated hairs generally shed gradually following treatment. Because hairs are at different stages of their growth cycle, further sessions are required to target additional hairs as they enter the appropriate phase.
Can I have laser hair removal if I’m pregnant?
Forever Clinic does not perform treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. This is also reflected in the clinic’s current treatment policy. (Forever Clinic)
Do I need a consultation?
Yes. An assessment allows us to establish your suitability, discuss expectations and determine the appropriate approach before beginning your course.
